1) After uploading an image, it shows "Not Relevant"?
This is not an error! This message comes either when the image has been taken from a distance which is 50 meters from the store. This message is also displayed when the GPS (Latitude and Longitude) of a store is not properly captured (i.e. the store address is not captured properly in the Des Connect system). At this case, you have an option in My Profile page to update your exact store location in Map.
How to Correct this-
1.Click on Not Relevant. It will open a Map and show Image Location and Store Location.
2.If Store Location is pointing wrong please update it in My Profile.
3.If Image Location is wrong please delete the Image by clicking (x) button, capture the image again with Mobile GPS and Location Tag in camera settings switched on, Upload again.
2) When I upload a picture in the system which was captured using my mobile, it shows "GPS Data N/A from a file. What should I do?
In order to resolve this issue, you need to switch on your phone location/GPS from the phone settings. Also, make sure that in your mobile camera settings the GPS/location tag has turned on before clicking the image. Once you have switched on the GPS from your camera and the location from the settings, capture the picture again and upload it to the system. You will not be facing the above-mentioned error anymore.
3) I have forgotten my password. How can I access my account in that case?
If you have forgotten your password, please click on the" Request new Password" link present just below the Login button on home page. On clicking the link,
1.you will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to enter the User name and Email ID. Provide User name and Email ID which was registered with us earlier.
2.After you provided the details, you will get a link to reset your password in the mail (which you have entered).
3.Click on the link from your mail and then you will be redirected to Des Connect application. Now choose your New Password and also Confirm New Password. You will be able to reset your password successfully.
Note: The link that has been sent in the mail to reset the password can be used only once. This link is valid for only for 1 day.
4) Not sure your store’s GPS location is pointing correct in the DES Connect system?
Kindly check in My Profile (link to my profile) page, found your store location is pointing wrong? Drag the red pointer and point to your exact store location in the map and click "Submit". We will help you to update the correct location of your store.
5) Seeing cross (X) mark in near image upload in audit page?
It’s not an error, it’s an option to delete the image uploaded in case you want to do
6)Not receiving mails from DES Connect?
Please follow the below steps,
Step 1: Please check Junk/Spam folders in your mail system
Step 2: If you find any mails lies on Junk/Spam folders read those and mark as “Not Spam” or “Move to Inbox”
Step 3: Add email@example.com in your mail contacts.
There after you will receive all mails from DES Connect in your inbox!
